Asek liegt in seinem Bett im Hotel.

Er möchte keine Arbeit machen.
He does not want to do any work.
Er möchte nur Tee trinken und die Natur sehen.
He only wants to drink tea and see nature.
Aber das Telefon klingelt.
But the phone rings.
Es ist 23:00 Uhr.
It is 11:00 PM.
Asek nimmt das Telefon.
Asek takes the phone.
„Hallo? Wer ist da?“, fragt Asek müde.
"Hello? Who is there?" asks Asek tiredly.
Eine Stimme antwortet schnell.
A voice answers quickly.
„Herr Asek, bitte helfen Sie mir.“
"Mr. Asek, please help me."
„Mein Name ist Herr Chowdhury.“
"My name is Mr. Chowdhury."
„Ich besitze den ‚Green Leaf‘ Teegarten.“
"I own the 'Green Leaf' tea garden."
„Etwas Schreckliches ist passiert.“
"Something terrible has happened."
Asek setzt sich auf.
Asek sits up.
„Was ist passiert, Herr Chowdhury?“
"What has happened, Mr. Chowdhury?"
„Meine Tochter ist weg“, sagt der Mann.
"My daughter is gone," says the man.
„Sie heißt Rina. Sie ist zehn Jahre alt.“
"Her name is Rina. She is ten years old."
„Sie war heute Abend in ihrem Zimmer.“
"She was in her room this evening."
„Jetzt ist das Zimmer leer.“
"Now the room is empty."
„Und das Fenster ist kaputt.“
"And the window is broken."
Asek seufzt.
Asek sighs.
Sein Urlaub ist vorbei.
His vacation is over.
„Ich komme sofort“, sagt Asek.
"I am coming immediately."
Asek zieht seine Jacke an.
Asek puts on his jacket.
Er geht nach draußen.
He goes outside.
Es regnet immer noch sehr stark.
It is still raining very heavily.
Er nimmt ein CNG zum Teegarten.
He takes a CNG to the tea garden.
Die Straße ist dunkel und rutschig.
The road is dark and slippery.
Der Teegarten liegt auf einem Hügel.
The tea garden lies on a hill.

Herr Chowdhury wartet vor dem Haus.
Mr. Chowdhury waits in front of the house.
Er weint.
He is crying.

"Please find Rina," he says.
Asek geht in das Zimmer von Rina.
Asek goes into Rina's room.
Er sieht das Fenster.
He sees the window.
Das Glas liegt auf dem Boden.
The glass lies on the floor.
Asek schaut genau hin.
Asek looks closely.
Das Glas liegt im Zimmer, nicht draußen.
The glass lies inside the room, not outside.
„Das ist wichtig“, denkt Asek.
"That is important," thinks Asek.
„Jemand hat das Fenster von außen kaputt gemacht.“
"Someone broke the window from the outside."
Asek leuchtet mit seiner Taschenlampe nach draußen.
Asek shines his flashlight outside.
Der Boden ist nass und weich.
The ground is wet and soft.
Er sieht Fußspuren.
He sees footprints.
Es sind große Schuhe.
They are big shoes.
Die Spuren führen in den Wald.
The tracks lead into the forest.
„Herr Chowdhury, wer arbeitet heute Nacht hier?“, fragt Asek.
"Mr. Chowdhury, who is working here tonight?" asks Asek.
„Nur der Wächter, Karim“, sagt Herr Chowdhury.
"Only the guard, Karim," says Mr. Chowdhury.
„Wo ist Karim?“, fragt Asek.
"Where is Karim?" asks Asek.
„Ich weiß es nicht. Ich habe ihn nicht gesehen.“
"I do not know. I have not seen him."
Asek folgt den Spuren in den Wald.
Asek follows the tracks into the forest.
Der Regen ist kalt.
The rain is cold.
Asek ist nass.
Asek is wet.
Er geht tief in den Teegarten.
He goes deep into the tea garden.
Die Teebüsche sind grün und dunkel.
The tea bushes are green and dark.
Plötzlich sieht Asek ein Licht.
Suddenly Asek sees a light.
Es ist eine kleine Hütte.
It is a small hut.
Die Hütte ist alt.
The hut is old.
Asek geht leise zur Hütte.
Asek walks quietly to the hut.
Er hört Stimmen.
He hears voices.
Eine Männerstimme und eine Kinderstimme.
A man's voice and a child's voice.
„Sei ruhig!“, sagt der Mann.
"Be quiet!" says the man.
„Dein Vater zahlt bald.“
"Your father will pay soon."
Asek schaut durch ein Loch in der Wand.
Asek looks through a hole in the wall.
Er sieht Rina.
He sees Rina.
Sie sitzt auf einem Stuhl.
She is sitting on a chair.
Sie hat Angst.
She is scared.
Neben ihr steht ein Mann.
Next to her stands a man.
Er trägt eine Uniform.
He is wearing a uniform.
Es ist der Wächter, Karim.
It is the guard, Karim.
Karim hat ein Handy in der Hand.
Karim has a mobile phone in his hand.
Er will Herrn Chowdhury anrufen.
He wants to call Mr. Chowdhury.
Asek muss schnell sein.
Asek must be fast.
Er hat keine Waffe.
He has no weapon.
Aber er sieht einen großen Stein am Boden.
But he sees a big stone on the ground.
Asek nimmt den Stein.
Asek takes the stone.
Er tritt gegen die Tür.
He kicks the door.
Bumm!
Boom!
Die Tür fliegt auf.
The door flies open.
Karim dreht sich um.
Karim turns around.
Er ist überrascht.
He is surprised.
„Wer sind Sie?“, schreit Karim.
"Who are you?" screams Karim.
„Die Polizei kommt!“, ruft Asek laut.
"The police are coming!" shouts Asek loudly.
Das ist eine Lüge, aber Karim glaubt es.
That is a lie, but Karim believes it.
Karim bekommt Panik.
Karim panics.
Er rennt zum Fenster.
He runs to the window.
Er will fliehen.
He wants to flee.
Aber Asek wirft den Stein.
But Asek throws the stone.
Der Stein trifft Karim am Bein.
The stone hits Karim on the leg.
Karim fällt hin.
Karim falls down.
„Aua!“, schreit er.
"Ouch!" he screams.
Asek springt auf Karim.
Asek jumps on Karim.
Er hält seine Arme fest.
He holds his arms tight.
„Keine Bewegung!“, sagt Asek streng.
"Don't move!" says Asek strictly.
Rina weint vor Freude.
Rina cries with joy.
„Du bist sicher, Rina“, sagt Asek.
"You are safe, Rina," says Asek.
„Nimm das Handy von Karim. Ruf deinen Vater an.“
"Take Karim's phone. Call your father."
Rina nimmt das Handy.
Rina takes the phone.
Sie ruft Herrn Chowdhury an.
She calls Mr. Chowdhury.
Zehn Minuten später kommt Herr Chowdhury mit seinen Arbeitern.
Ten minutes later Mr. Chowdhury arrives with his workers.
Sie haben Taschenlampen und Stöcke.
They have flashlights and sticks.
Sie binden Karim fest.
They tie Karim up.
Herr Chowdhury umarmt seine Tochter.
Mr. Chowdhury hugs his daughter.
„Oh Rina! Gott sei Dank!“
"Oh Rina! Thank God!"
Er schaut Asek an.
He looks at Asek.
„Sie sind ein Held, Herr Asek.“
"You are a hero, Mr. Asek."
„Wie kann ich Ihnen danken?“
"How can I thank you?"
Asek lächelt müde.
Asek smiles tiredly.
Er ist schmutzig und nass.
He is dirty and wet.
„Ich brauche kein Geld“, sagt Asek.
"I do not need money," says Asek.
„Aber mein Urlaub ist kaputt.“
"But my vacation is ruined."
„Ich möchte eine Tasse von Ihrem besten Tee.“
"I would like a cup of your best tea."
Herr Chowdhury lacht.
Mr. Chowdhury laughs.
„Sie bekommen den besten Tee in ganz Sylhet.“
"You will get the best tea in all of Sylhet."
Am nächsten Morgen sitzt Asek auf der Veranda.
The next morning Asek sits on the veranda.
Die Sonne scheint wieder.
The sun is shining again.
Der Regen ist weg.
The rain is gone.
Der Teegarten ist hellgrün und wunderschön.
The tea garden is bright green and beautiful.
Asek trinkt seinen Tee.
Asek drinks his tea.
Er schmeckt fantastisch.
It tastes fantastic.
Er schaut auf die Hügel.
He looks at the hills.
Er denkt an Dhaka.
He thinks of Dhaka.
Dhaka ist laut und staubig.
Dhaka is loud and dusty.
Hier ist die Luft frisch.
Here the air is fresh.
„Vielleicht bleibe ich noch zwei Tage“, denkt Asek.
"Maybe I will stay two more days," thinks Asek.
„Aber nur, wenn niemand verschwindet.“
"But only if no one disappears."
Asek schließt die Augen und genießt die Ruhe.
Asek closes his eyes and enjoys the peace.
