Asek schaut sich das Lagerhaus an.

"She is a tea plucker."
„Sie ist heute nicht zur Arbeit gekommen.“
"She did not come to work today."
„Sie wollte mehr Geld, aber ich habe Nein gesagt.“
"She wanted more money, but I said no."
Asek sieht Fußspuren im Schlamm.
Asek sees footprints in the mud.

Vor ihr steht ein großer Jutesack.
In front of her stands a large jute sack.
Sie hat ein Messer in der Hand.

Asek tritt die Tür auf.
Asek kicks the door open.
„Keine Bewegung!“, ruft Asek.
"Don't move!" calls Asek.
Sumi erschrickt.
Sumi gets scared.
Sie lässt das Messer fallen.
She drops the knife.
Sie hebt die Hände.
She raises her hands.
Sie weint.
She is crying.
„Bitte, Sir, tun Sie mir nichts“, fleht sie.
"Please, Sir, do not hurt me," she begs.
„Ich bin keine Diebin.“
"I am not a thief."
„Warum hast du den Sack gestohlen?“, fragt Asek.
"Why did you steal the sack?" asks Asek.
„Gib ihn mir.“
"Give it to me."
Sumi schüttelt den Kopf.
Sumi shakes her head.
„Schauen Sie hinein, Sir“, sagt sie leise.
"Look inside, Sir," she says quietly.
„Das ist kein Tee.“
"That is not tea."
Asek geht zu dem Sack.
Asek goes to the sack.
Er öffnet ihn vorsichtig.
He opens it carefully.
Er erwartet feine Teeblätter.
He expects fine tea leaves.
Aber der Sack ist voll mit getrockneten braunen Pflanzen.
But the sack is full of dried brown plants.
Asek nimmt ein Blatt und riecht daran.
Asek takes a leaf and smells it.
Es riecht süß und chemisch.
It smells sweet and chemical.
Es ist kein Tee.

„Herr Latif verkauft keinen Luxus-Tee“, sagt Sumi.
"Mr. Latif does not sell luxury tea," says Sumi.
„Er benutzt die Teekisten, um Drogen nach Dhaka zu schmuggeln.“
"He uses the tea boxes to smuggle drugs to Dhaka."
„Ich habe es gestern gesehen.“
"I saw it yesterday."
„Ich wollte den Sack zur Polizei bringen.“

Plötzlich hört Asek ein Klatschen.

"That was stupid, Sumi," says Latif.
„Und Sie, Detektiv, sind zu neugierig.“

„Sie werden beide hier sterben.“
"You will both die here."
„Ein tragischer Unfall im Wald.“
"A tragic accident in the forest."
Latif zielt auf Asek.
Latif aims at Asek.
Asek schaut auf den Sack.
Asek looks at the sack.
Er schaut auf das offene Feuer im Ofen der Hütte.
He looks at the open fire in the stove of the hut.
„Warten Sie, Latif“, sagt Asek.
"Wait, Latif," says Asek.
„Dieser Sack ist 10 Lakh wert, richtig?“
"This sack is worth 10 Lakh, right?"
„Richtig“, sagt Latif.
"Correct," says Latif.
Asek tritt gegen den Sack.
Asek kicks the sack.
Der Sack fällt um.
The sack falls over.
Der Inhalt fällt direkt in das Feuer.

Die trockenen Pflanzen brennen sofort.

He jumps through the smoke.
Er packt das Gewehr von Latif.
He grabs Latif's shotgun.
Er reißt es ihm aus der Hand.
He rips it out of his hand.
Er schlägt Latif mit dem Kolben gegen die Schulter.
He hits Latif with the butt against the shoulder.
Latif fällt zu Boden.
Latif falls to the ground.
Asek zieht Sumi aus der Hütte.
Asek pulls Sumi out of the hut.
Sie husten an der frischen Luft.
They cough in the fresh air.
Die Hütte brennt jetzt lichterloh.
The hut is now burning brightly.
Das Feuer vernichtet alle Beweise für die Drogen.
The fire destroys all evidence of the drugs.
Aber Latif kommt kriechend aus der Hütte.
But Latif comes crawling out of the hut.
Sein Gesicht ist schwarz vom Ruß.
His face is black from soot.
Asek legt ihm Handschellen an.
Asek puts handcuffs on him.
„Sie haben nichts gegen mich“, lacht Latif hustend.
"You have nothing against me," laughs Latif coughing.
„Die Drogen sind verbrannt.“
"The drugs are burnt."
Asek lächelt.
Asek smiles.
Er greift in seine Tasche.
He reaches into his pocket.
Er holt eine Handvoll der trockenen Pflanzen heraus.
He takes out a handful of the dry plants.
Er hatte sie genommen, bevor er den Sack umgetreten hat.
He had taken them before he kicked the sack over.
„Ich habe eine Probe gesichert“, sagt Asek.
"I secured a sample," says Asek.
„Das reicht für das Labor.“
"That is enough for the laboratory."
Latif hört auf zu lachen.
Latif stops laughing.
Er schaut böse auf die kleine Handvoll Pflanzen.
He looks angrily at the small handful of plants.
Sumi steht auf.
Sumi stands up.
Sie ist immer noch ängstlich.
She is still fearful.
„Habe ich meinen Job verloren?“, fragt sie.
"Have I lost my job?" she asks.
Asek schüttelt den Kopf.
Asek shakes his head.
„Nein. Die Plantage bekommt einen neuen Manager.“
"No. The plantation will get a new manager."
„Und du bekommst eine Belohnung für deinen Mut.“
"And you will get a reward for your courage."
Die Polizei kommt den Hügel hinauf.
The police come up the hill.
Sie sehen das Feuer.
They see the fire.
Asek gibt Latif den Polizisten.
Asek gives Latif to the policemen.
Der Regen löscht das Feuer der Hütte langsam.
The rain extinguishes the fire of the hut slowly.
Asek und Sumi gehen zurück durch die Teegärten.

Jetzt sieht der Garten wieder friedlich aus.
Now the garden looks peaceful again.
Asek pflückt ein echtes Teeblatt.
Asek picks a real tea leaf.
Er riecht daran.
He smells it.
„Nichts ist besser als das Original“, sagt Asek.
"Nothing is better than the original," says Asek.
Er freut sich auf eine heiße Tasse Tee im Hotel.
He looks forward to a hot cup of tea at the hotel.
