Asek runzelt die Stirn.

„Sie sollten das nicht laut sagen“, sagt Asek.

Asek rennt aus dem Speisesaal.

Sie sperren den Dieb in einen Raum.

Asek geht zurück in den Speisesaal.

Herr Islam sitzt am Tisch und weint fast.
Mr. Islam sits at the table and is almost crying.
Asek legt den Diamanten auf den Tisch.

Er funkelt im Licht.

Herr Islam springt auf.

„Stecken Sie ihn in den Safe beim Kapitän.“
"Put it in the safe with the captain."
„Nicht in die Tasche.“
"Not in the pocket."
Herr Islam nickt.
Mr. Islam nods.
„Ja, sofort. Ich bin dumm gewesen.“
"Yes, immediately. I was stupid."
Asek ist müde.
Asek is tired.
Er bestellt einen Tee.
He orders a tea.
Er geht wieder auf das Deck.
He goes back onto the deck.
Die Nacht ist ruhig.
The night is quiet.
Der Mond spiegelt sich im Fluss.

Das Schiff fährt weiter nach Barisal.

Asek hört das Wasser.

Er liebt den Fluss.
